I listed my first home a month ago and every time I do a search or use the map feature it is not there.

Yet when I do the exact same search you did it doesn’t show up at all.
Hi @David13894
When I search for Karnack, 11 guests, 22 to 24 September, there are 15 homes available. Yours shows in 3rd position. The price looks good at the 11-guest level compared to the others. You can check how it compares at every guest count.
Keep in mind there may be significantly more or fewer homes to compete with on different dates and with a different length of stay. And certainly significantly more competitors with each drop in guest count.
You should check that your ideal guest count and length of stay display well in search results on average. Logged-in searches are tailored to the person's search history, so you'll show in a different position depending on the guest anyway, but one tries to place highly as much as possible.
thanks for your reply, but I have gone back and tried multiple times with all different variables and it never shows up as a choice in Karnack, TX. I have changed dates the amount of people nothing displays this location even typing the exact address or name (Cain Pole Cabin)

Here's a screenshot of how I'm seeing the same search in private mode today @David13894
It's now giving me 20 listings instead of 15 for 11 guests on these dates. Yours is showing in the 3rd row (my screenshot shows rows 2 and 3).
Because the dates are now so close, it's possible some of your competitors reduced their minimum stays to get the nights booked, thereby increasing the number of listings available on these two nights that I searched. They possibly also lowered their prices, which can make your listing appear a little lower on average (only when searched specifically for these two nights, at a guest count of 11).
Another factor is that, as nights become booked, more listings from surrounding areas are likely to be drawn into the results for Karnack (to present guests with enough options). You can see I typed Karnack, but some of the high-ranking listings in this specific search seem to be in nearby towns, while yours is showing the text "in Karnack".

I’m wondering if it is because I’m the host even though I switched to traveling mode it’s not going to to show my house? I had a coworker search and it came up and shows the house where it is but shows Stuart Drive as the next street over (which is Sabrina Ln) and doesn’t show the road going to the house.
@David13894 in location settings in the Listings tab, you can choose whether the location should show exactly or approximately in search results. Yours may be set to show an approximate location, with the exact address only visible to confirmed guests.
Regarding the fact you can't see your listing in guest view, all I can think is you may have some filters applied?
If not, perhaps check on another device (phone app?) and see if it shows?
Usually while logged in to one's own account, one's own listing will appear near the top (because you tend to have clicked it before, and because it tends to be a good match for you). There must be something else blocking it, like a filter.
Thanks so much for trying to help with this. As for the location I have it set to exact. It’s the map that’s off with street names. Not sure on the filters cause I hit the clear all filters button at least a dozen times while trying to find it. But it’s all good as long as others are seeing it.
@David13894 when searching specifically to see where you rank (on average) for guests, it's best to use private mode (i.e. don't just switch to guest view while logged in). This is because the results vary according to the person logged in.
You should hopefully be able to see the house in private mode if there's something affecting your logged-in results, and then you have access to the most important guest view anyway 👍
