Thanks to @Patricia2526 , just found out you CAN add photos to a scheduled message, but only in the App, not on a computer. No idea how long that capability has been there, but I just tested in in the App and it works! Thanks again @Patricia2526! 👏
I usually only use a desktop computer and never knew Airbnb had added this feature? Who knows when, as we weren't notified. Here is what it looks like in the App. Go to
Scheduled Msgs
Click the msg you want to edit
Tap the (+) sign
Upload the photo
Tap Next/Save
This feature is not yet functioning on the desktop - it's greyed-out

That’s such a great tip—thank you for sharing, and big thanks to @Patricia2526 too! I had no idea this was possible through the app. It’s definitely a helpful feature for things like sending arrival instructions, maps, or appliance guides visually.
That said, I do hope Airbnb also keeps a close eye on how this feature is used—because while it’s convenient, it could be misused for off-platform promotion or sharing sensitive content. A little guidance or moderation from Airbnb would help ensure it stays helpful for hosts and respectful of guest experience.
Still, really appreciate this update—it’s one of those small things that can save a lot of time!
Hi @Joan2709 You’re always welcome. I’m happy to share! I’m not exactly sure when I started using it, but I believe it must have been the last winter release.
I'm glad you posted about this, but VERY angry the Hosting community was not notified as sooo many Hosts have been asking for this. I did see a mention about Hosts and Co-Hosts sharing photos, but nothing about being able to add photos to Scheduled messages for guests.
I wonder 🤔, can you add video as well as photos? That would really help alot of Hosts who need to explain how to use an appliance or other features in the listing?

Well...I checked the desktop this afternoon and the Add Details is no longer greyed-out and is functioning, so you can add photos to scheduled messages on the desktop now as well as the App.
Very helpful! Glad we can now post, though it would be especially useful
if we could add individual captions for each photo. Right now it appears as though the photos just get grouped together at the end of the message.

Yes...that would be nice. However, you can add descriptions to your photos in the Arrival Guide.

You can also add text to your photos attached to msgs. We do that for parking photos attached to msgs using arrows and also add a map with directions.
