Hi , I am looking into buying airbnb property. Prefer existing property that is alreadying AIRBNB business. Do you all know where to look for AIRBNB property?
The only advantage to purchasing an established Airbnb home is that it would likely come furnished for guests, with kitchenware, bedding and towels, etc. Which may not be things you like or would want for your decor anyway.
Airbnbs aren't transferrable- all the ratings and reviews stay with the Airbnb profile of the original host- you would have to put up a new listing yourself and earn your own reviews. So when someone sells a home, regardless of whether it has been used as an Airbnb, they aren't selling the business, it doesn't work like that
correct, I am just looking to buy property what was doing AIRBNB before, I am not buying the business. Just wonder if airbnb owner normally sell through MLS or on special real estate website.
There may be some dedicated site for this, but I'm not aware of any.
I guess you could try Googling "Airbnbs for sale in XX", and see if anything comes up, but maybe you've done that already. You could also check to see if there is a hosting Facebook group for your area and express interest there. @Helen2296
Yes there is a site. I do not think I can send a link here but it’s called Second Home Market
it also routed to it if you put in the url buy Airbnb dot com or buy VRBO dot com
@Helen2296 to follow up on my comment. Are you looking for the property with an open mind on location? In some cities/regions MLS search filters have added a way for agents to indicate licensure exists on properties for sale. But you have to rely on the listing agents choosing that tab correctly... then you have to go to each city and ask an agent there to run that filter search for you because the site that begins with Z does not really offer the search filter at least so far. But Second Home Market is kind of like Loop Net as in it is a place where agents or FSBO would list in addition or instead of standard MLS. Where loop net always did commercial properties in general, SecondHomeMarket is focused on vacation rentals only and has space for sellers or agents to explain that their property is legal, can be in a management program, has a history of income etc to make it easy for out of town owners to imagine how they can buy and hold a second home or investment
@Sarah977 it is new. I am an agent and got some of my listings on there this summer as a promo. It also routes to the site if you put VRBO4Sale dot com, in addition to BuyAIRBNB and BuyVRBO dot com. The site is really open right now so it is free for retail buyers to browse unlike Loop Net you do not have to pay to see the agent or owner contact info. Even links to their actual MLS sites are openly provided. So it is a great place to start to see what is for sale in this category.
I'll sell mine... Texas... great deal
The Covid-19 crisis will probably put many vacation properties on the market, some of them with a STR history, but it's not a bad idea to specify your criteria....like Continent, Country and City.
@Kelly149 see if code free6 works, I got a free 6 month listing on there with that code. It can be for sale by owner. Can't hurt to put it out there.
I have this sweet little cottage in Huntsville Alabama. It is near the NASA Space Center and across the street from a wedding venue.
