I have a booking from 19th June 2021 for 5 days. However, to the general public it is showing the 19th as available. How do I resolve this?
Bernice, this is a regular occurrence and, although I have a theory, I can't state definitively why it happens! On looking at my booking calendar some nights appear to be open when they are not!. It appears to be some sort of glitch in the programming which mainly effects the calendar on the phone app. But rest assured if someone tries to proceed to a booking for the 19th of June when that night is already booked, the Airbnb system will not allow the new booking to proceed.
My personal thinking is, when you search your listing, your device is being lazy and using it's cache rather than reloading information from the internet. It is wise to delete your search history and cache every now and then to keep your computer/phone honest and up to date!
Cheers.........Rob
The 19th is not available ... only check-out is possible since you have a booking that starts with a check-in on the 19th. See below when a guest tries to select the 19th.
@Bernice39 Also notice that dates like June 17th are greyed out and unavailable for check-in because you have a 3-night minimum set. A big piece of advice I would give to new hosts is to always look at your calendar from your listing page and play around with dates as if you are a guest.
@Bernice39 I can see why you were confused. One of the many things you need to get your head around with Airbnb is that nights and days are different. Its obvious once you think about it but can be confusing at times.
