How to Host on Airbnb
1. Create your listing
Go to the Airbnb website or app and click “Airbnb your home.”
You’ll be asked to enter:
• 📍 Location
• 🏠 Property type (room, apartment, villa, farmhouse, houseboat, etc.)
• 👥 Number of guests
• 🛏 Beds and bathrooms
• 🖼 Photos
• 📝 Title and description
• 💰 Price per night
Tip: Your photos and title are the most important for bookings.

2. Prepare your space
Make sure your place is:
• Clean and clutter-free
• Comfortable bed
• Towels and toiletries
• Fast Wi-Fi
• Good lighting
Extra things guests love:
• Self check-in (smart lock or lockbox)
• Welcome guide
• Good interior styling
Guests love flexibility and convenience.
3. Take high-quality photos
Include:
• Bedroom
• Bathroom
• Living room
• Kitchen
• Outdoor areas
• Unique features (pool, ocean, artwork)
4. Set your price
Airbnb suggests a price, but you can adjust.
Beginner strategy:
• Slightly lower price to get first reviews
• Increase price after 3-5 good reviews
5. Set your booking settings
Important settings:
Check-in method
• Self check-in recommended
Cancellation policy
• Flexible, Moderate, or Strict
House rules
Example:
• No smoking inside
• No parties
• Check-in after 3PM
6. Publish your listing
Once done and you are ready to host, click Publish
Your listing goes live immediately.
Potential Guests can now book.
