would I list my name as the Airbnb host instead of the home owner?

I am currently a renter of a house that’s not mine but I want to make it a Airbnb because i will be traveling … there’s nothing on my least saying I can’t co-least the home or rent it out weekly. Would I need a license? And would I list my name as the Airbnb host instead of the home owner?

@Davonna1  You would need to check 1) if there are STR regulations in your area 2) check with the owner you may have a reference in your lease that prohibits you running a business

When you rented the place, the owner probably spend some time exchanging with you to see if you were a good fit for his place. Normal process. Now, because he didn't say anything in the lease, you wonder if its ok if you sub-let his place, to total strangers to him, not you. If he doesn't mind great, but I bet he does, most would.

@Davonna1 , best to check with your landlord as to whether he will permit subletting/STR on his property. You certainly would not want to be in violation of your lease and/or face eviction.
