Covid relief and superhost funds. Really?

We were initially very impressed by what appeared to be quite generous  and thoughtful concrete offers from Airbnb through the Covid relief and Superhost funds, but the reality has been disappointing. We seem to have been penalised because of our cancellation policy. We have a full refund policy up to two weeks before arrival. We offer this as we believe it offers guest security if something unforeseen happens and our experience has been next to no cancellations in our three years of hosting. Sadly for us Airbnb have not extended the same courtesy in terms of the relief fund. We lost all our bookings through April, May and June all because of Covid but because of our 2 week full refund policy were not eligible to relief fund compensation.  This criteria penalises hosts who offer guests cancellation close to arrival date. We offer this as we feel most guests don't want to cancel their stays and only do it when unforeseen circumstances present themselves hence we offer a full refund up to two weeks before arrival. Airbnbs attitude here seems to be penalising hosts who do this. We feel we are being penalised for offering what we consider is a helpful feature to our guests. Covid is the reason for ALL our many cancellations and I think it is unfair we have been penalised for trying to help our guests. Covid cancellations are Covid cancellations regardless of refund policy settings! As for the superhost relief fund I don't know where to start.

Fine words and gestures Airbnb poor actual deeds!
