2023 Airbnb Community Summit.

It was definitely a great time had yesterday at the 2023 SF Community Summit @ Airbnb HQ.   Laughed, learned and created great relationships and networking as we strive to enhance our communities we host in.   Info was splendid and there were a lot of suggestions on what to talk about with our different communities over the next year.   Theme was to hold meet ups and make them valuable to the membership.   Engage discussion and answer questions when you can.

Rely on your Community Directors when you not sure of a situation.  Most of all have fun in what your doing.

Did they give any advice on why Airbnb has a policy of suspending hosts without notice when guests raise 'safety' issues for example a guest complains of CCTV (displayed correctly in accordance with Airbnb's T&Cs) when for example they are caught out bringing in more guests then are on the booking. @Douglas158

@Helen3 , personally I’m aware of all these issues which happen in the communities. As these summits are held in a strictly confidential environment (which ensures an open communication on both sides), unfortunately we can’t provide any more details. Pls understand.

Personally I’m constantly asking for kind of an arbitration board, which could help to provide a second opinion and to solve issues better.
