A buggy/glitchy scam?

I am having a weird issue at the moment and wondered if anyone had such occur to them before.

I am a co-host to a listing and got contacted by a person who sent a request for 23 days. If I try to open their Profile on the App it gives me an error "you do not have permission to use this resource". On Desktop the whole message chain with just this person is just not there. Could it be he is already banned? On the App I can still open the message chain.

Secondly, the message he wrote was:

" I am looking for a flat and I want to close your dates contact me ⒲⒣⒜⒯⒮⒜⒫⒫ ❼❾ .... " Number redacted but it is a russian phone number. Suspicious??

Upon research and a reverse image search of his (Business account) Whatsapp Profile Picture, he is a renowned Russian DJ with his own Wikipedia page, so either this a high-profile booking or an elaborate scam. I wouldnt ever close any deals with WhatsApp, and just use the AirBnB Messenger, as is also stated in my listing info.

Thoughts about this situation?

Turns out it was the age-old book with no accomodation scam.

I would delete the thread but this does not seem possible.

@Julius96  Don't worry about deleting it- it's a valuable warning for other hosts, especially new ones.
