We are looking to work with hosts in the Houston area to help promote our restaurant that recently opened. What would be the best way to go about this?

@Monique864  Check the socials for Houston area home sharing groups, where you might be able to make some contacts. I'd expect the overwhelming majority of hosts to have no interest in promoting your business for free, but if you were offering a referral commission or some deep-discount vouchers, a few might be open to leaving them along with whatever brochures the supply guests (which, in turn, are usually ignored).

Is this a good use of your time? Almost certainly not. You can only reach a handful of potential guests through each host that you contact, whereas hotels have dozens at a time. And while guests  value insider recommendations from locals, they don't take kindly to ads in their rented home.
