AirBnB deleted a booking after the guest stayed!!!

Help! AirbnB customer support called and ask if I would consider taking a guest that had an issue with another booking.

I agreed to take the guest for the available days. AirBnB placed them on my booking calendar and called me back to see if I would allow an early check in for the guest. Sure. I agreed. The last day of the 3 day booking I noticed that the booking reservation was deleted from my calendar. ???

 

I loved into the resolution center and requested an update. It has now been 25 days of back and fourth with AirBnB. Their resolution was for me to contact the guest for payment. 

 

How can this be? I want above and beyond taking the guest. I provided call logs, voice mails from AirBnB and the guest. I also have Ring Camera footage of the guests. How can AirBnB not help with this and tell me I am on my own. AIRBNB SET THIS UP.

 

ANY suggestions? Has this happened to anyone else?AirBnB

OK, lesson learned: never host a guest relocated by Airbnb CS.

BTW they choose you, because of your name....

it is true, you should never, ever take a guest sent over by CS, and certainly never a last minute booking... ABB does not know if they have a payment problem until 24 hours have passed and if ABB doesn't get paid, you don't get paid

@Exchange1  Airbnb has both relocated a guest I kicked out for partying as well as asked me to host a guest who when I pressed turned out to have been kicked out by another host for partying.  What a long sentence! My thumbs are tired. In any case, there was not a way for you to know any of this. Keep pressing, ask for manager, message through Facebook for help
