This is actually happening with a different host's account, but I'm trying to help them.
The host relisted a listing that had been unlisted for months, and then began updating various details and parameters in the listing. In very short time, the calendar for that listing suddenly showed a "Jasime Gordley" blocking the calendar for the next couple months starting tomorrow. No inquiry or booking request shows up in the host's inbox. The name cannot be clicked on in the calendar and the calendar cannot be altered because it is blocked.
This random name just showed up and perma-blocked part of the calendar without explanation.
Any ideas?
The only idea I had was that this person is a spammer and they made a booking request and then had their account shut down.
@Christopher187 How immensely frustrating, and quite outrageous this is even happening in the first place.
I’m pretty sure the “team” is really just a lone little man behind a curtain pulling levers and cranks. Would explain the massive number of these types of bugs/glitches on the platform, and the delays in getting them righted.
When you say this is happening to you and other hosts you know - are these all listings that sit on your profile I.e. they are listings you co-host?

No, I am not a co-host. The other two hosts I mentioned are just people I know near me.
I don't think our accounts have been hacked. I do suspect that the calendars are being blocked like this for malicious reasons.
Both of my properties have been booked out for the past 4 days despite no enquiry or reservation coming through...they are booked out for the next 7 weeks!!
I have phoned support but the calendars remain booked preventing any other bookings.
Nothing is getting done.
Why can't they just unblock the calendars and allow genuine guests to enquire and book?

Exactly the same with no help from Airbnb to solve the issue.
