This is an amazing occasion and proof of the strength of our incredible community. Each one of you has contributed to this milestone, making it a vibrant hub of support, knowledge, and connection for Hosts all around the world! 🌍

Whether you've been here from day one or just joined recently, your presence and participation have been invaluable, so let's celebrate together!🎉

One of the memories that I am fond of is when we did our very first Community Center Social. It was absolutely lovely seeing some of you, and being able to put a face to those we talk with on a daily basis ✨

Congratulations to the Airbnb Community team - what a great milestone.

When you first start hosting it can feel like you are out there on your own. This community centre is a great way to  help others to connect.

I was so excited to meet the infamous @Laurelle3  last week.  We were heading off on holiday and I reached out to check if we could catch up for a cup of tea.. oh no Laurelle being the host she is had the whole family over for a wonderful dinner and made us all feel so welcome.  Side note - not only is Laurelle one of the nicest most genuine hosts you will meet she is also a great cook and her husband is wonderful. 

I can't wait to see you again- Perhaps with @Robin4  who looks like she enjoys hanging out in my neck of the woods with her girls..

Aha, I have tricked another one Felicity!

For 2 years back in 2016-17 @Andrea9  thought she was responding the Robyn the female.. not Robin the male in our communications here on the CC!!

When Ade and I started going out and were introduced to people we didn't know, we were simply introduced as Robin and Adrian, and there started a guessing game......who was who. We would play along with it and not mention each other by name until it got the better of someone and they would come up and whisper in my ear, "which one are you"? 

Felicity it would be lovely to meet up with you, I have a lot to do with Sarah Huang, @Sarah5000 the other Australian member of the host Advisory board and moderator of the Adelaide Airbnb group.

We get together every few weeks for a cup of coffee and exchange ideas.

So we know where we are coming from Felicity, I am actually Robin with an i, the male part of this hosting relationship. If you want to check out how I spend any spare time I have take a look at this Link. Scroll down to the dude on the bike!!!

@Quincy wow 1.5 Mill awesome....I am so proud to be part of this community of very awesome people! Thanks for including me and supporting me especially during the pandemic....we sure had some amazing zoom cooking and fun times and friend making. I miss all that. But glad we are on the other side of that pandemic.

@Quincy YES yes, let's get together on Zoom for sure - I'm all about Safety and would love to hear and talk with other hosts about how they are doing in their countries, or states over here and the impact I think "SAFETY"  it is having on future guests. 

that's the big thing I'm working on at the moment - also planning an in person meet up for my FB Airbnb Host community group here in Florida....we have almost reached 1,000. Woohoo. Its been such an amazing ride and so much fun, learning continually and building relationships.

Oh, I'm going to Headquarters for the San Francisco Summit in a few weeks and I'm over the top thrilled about meeting everyone in person and spending time with all those that I admire, respect and love from Airbnb.

@Quincy yes I agree with another zoom meeting id due. Christmas is just around the corner and our summer season has started and having to put the skates on for the bookings.

@Laurelle3 Yes, I am busy with your community in Florida and getting packed to head to San Francisco to Headquarters for a fabulous Summit for community leaders. I'm so excited - last year I went to Atlanta, but this year with surgery I couldn't make it to Atlanta and have the honor to go to the West Coast. Awesome indeed.

Hope we zoom soon with all the gang.
