Thank you Bhmika for this message. 

This is the fourth time in a row that we've been recognized as a Superhost @casadosvinhais and it's always very gratifying when we do.

We all know how difficult it is to maintain the same level of guest satisfaction. Not all of them are the same, some are more or less communicative, others implicative...but the reward is when they leave our house as if they were friends. We've had incredible experiences of guests still messaging us on Instagram and sending us photos a year after their stay!

That's what keeps us going, creating good memories for all our guests. Cheers to all and when you want to visit the Douro Valley you can always count on a warm welcome from us 🙂

Well it’s always a happy moment to be recognised like this ,even when I started off in 2019 I  was awarded with this title  but couldn’t maintain it due to Covid-19 .

So in this past year I decided to start off again and it’s been going amazing .

I simply love hosting & meeting people from  all around the world and Airbnb makes it much easier and also it’s rewarding  at the same time .

This has been my preferred platform over the rest and I guess with its smoothness and simplicity will remain so in coming years too.

I hope to continue and serve with equal amount of sincerity and passion .  And hope this connection keeps growing .

Would you like to share any tips or lessons you've learned along the way that you'd like to pass on to fellow hosts or new Hosts who look forward to host on Airbnb?

Hey yeah sure …

Well after all these years of interacting with them  and hosting them through different platforms I think the best advice to any fellow upcoming host would be 

a) To add your personal touch.

Afterall  they preferred  airbnb over hotel stays so it’s always better to be there one on one and add a bit of more and more interaction between the two parties .Obviously going with the flow and not overdoing it ,which can ruin it too.

So be careful with this step .

b) Be proactive .

Thats one thing I swear by whether it’s getting them the directions to our property or telling them what all is happening in the city .

I always try to give them suggestions on various things and mostly 100% of the guest love it !! 

They love the fact that someone is there at the property who’s taking time out to guide them in a better way .

So yeah these two definitely are something I believe everyone can work with .
