Hi @Howard103 , I noticed your discussion on the other thread you created and hope the insights from the Superhosts have helped.
However, I wanted to share this article that states :
To be evaluated for Superhost status, a host must be the listing owner of one or more homes listings. Co-hosts and experience hosts aren’t included in this evaluation. Even if a co-host manages a homes listing as the primary host, they can’t be considered for Superhost status based on that co-host role. However, if a co-host is also the listing owner of another listing, they can be evaluated for Superhost status based on its performance. The performance of any listing in which they’re a co-host won’t contribute to their Superhost eligibility.
Hope it helps with some insights on the matter. However, If you'd like to leave any feedback for Airbnb, please feel free to add it here : Airbnb feedback form.
@Bhumika If the listing owner/admin/co-host (the listing owner is not and never was a property owner but an employee at the time), RPM PR receives the Superhost badge fine understood. However, the managed properties that received the reviews should receive the superhost distinction of being handled by the SuperHost. That's not the case now, and how can that be rectified?
Our delima, the Primary Host and his team, did all the work, hosted all 417 stays, and replied to all the guests' inquiries. The listing owner, who originally listed the properties on Airbnb in 2015 and is not involved and has not been involved with the daily operations for the last 6 years, is not the primary host. So the listings does not get the SuperHost Designation.
This is important because the property manager and cleaning team will receive bonuses and compensation for achieving SuperHost status. Now, without it being on the listing page where guests can see the badge and they can see the badge, they will not get compensated. It's also an operational goal for the whole operations team. What's the point of a SuperHost badge if nobody can see it?
This is flawed and needs to be fixed. I, the primary host, don't care for the accolade. However, the property manager, cleaning team, etc., deserve to see their hard work recognized in the listings, as they are economically incentivized with revenue performance bonuses upon that recognition.
I just want to put this out there. I've been a host since 2016. I've only ever hosted on AirBnB and VRBO. I do the same things on both platforms. Everything is identical. I've always been a superhost. Understandably I lost my superhost for the first time because I did not meet the 10 stay minimum. It's a seasonal property so I have about a 5 month window. I would like to state for the record though that I received more bookings from VRBO this year. Quite a bit more than in the past. This is more a reflection on the perception from the consumer of AirBnB vs VRBO than it is of my ability to host. So although I understand I did not make the criteria I think AirBnB needs to take a hard look at why they are not the first choice in bookings anymore. I've always been a fan. And I think the fact that all vacation rentals get lumped under the "AirBnB" title so any negative feelings about any vacation rental can reflect on the brand but I wanted to give you a heads up. I didn't lose superhost because of my reviews or anything like that. I've always had 5 star reviews. I lost it because more people this past year booked on VRBO much more than in the past.
Hi @Tom2861 , Thank you for sharing your insights with us. I'm sorry to hear that you've lost your Superhost status for the first time, especially after consistently achieving it in the past.

After 6 years of dedicated work, I thank all my guests and Air bnb for recognizing our commitment and awarding us with the title of Superhost! It is a wind at the back and a confirmation to continue with our dedicated work! It's a real pleasure to do what you love! Thanks again and see you 😊😊😊
Hi @Mirela104 , Congratulations on achieving Superhost status after six years of hard work!
It’s inspiring to hear that your dedication is recognized and appreciated 😍
What are some of the most memorable experiences you’ve had with guests during your hosting journey? ✨
Dear Bhumika,
Thank you for the congratulations, six years may seem like an eternity to others, but for us it passed in a flash. You ask me what is an unforgettable experience with guests all these years, and I don't have an answer, every year is unforgettable for us, full of new experiences, friendships that are born by hosting guests. Our apartment has a message, that is, our motto, which is COME TO OUR APARTMENT AS A GUEST AND LEAVE AS A FRIEND, and that is what we want for all our guests, to feel at home and to be our friends! We still hope that we will continue this well in the future and look forward to every new guest as well as guests who will return again! 😊
It's great to be part of the community, There's nothing more exciting than becoming a super-host, all the hard work is worth it, cheers 🍻
