I have just received a text message from air BNB for a booking tonight 19.1.2020.
The request was made at 1105am today 19/1/20
I received the text at 5.57 pm nearly 6 hours after the request was made and at that point had made other arrangements.
Has anyone else experienced delays in messaging? What would you have done differently?
I have written back to the enquirer, declining and apologising. With consideration to rebook and a gift of local wine and cheese plate.
What else could I have done? this was my first booking 😞 It just was not possible to accept the very late booking
