To put it simply, being a host has taught me how to learn from others.
I like originality, and our unusual trailer lodge concept fits very well with the image I wanted to convey to my guests.
The 2 trailers, as well as the Nordic sauna, the swimming pool, and the restroom area are exclusively private for each reservation, "which makes it a charming stopover." Our guests are surprised and delighted to be alone in this space.
You have to spend some time with the travellers as there is a lot to see. They are not used to this environment, so we explain more than we do with an apartment or a traditional house.
For the bed, we opted for this "see photo" setup because we run on either side, otherwise it is too much work to remake the bed.
The trailers also provide a feeling of freedom; who hasn't dreamed of living in a trailer as a kid? We all keep within us, more or less buried in our minds, memories that make us remain big kids in the main.
Why the Alchemist's Lodge? I have been a skilled watchmaker and jewellery creator for more than 40 years and I work with 2 metals: SILVER and GOLD.
Our guests are given a (free) tour of the workshop with an unusual demonstration of lost wax casting, and of course everyone is delighted with this option.
Here are some pictures of the Alchemist's workshop 😉
I modestly hope that our guests feel a certain alchemy during their stay, in their mind and soul.
