Cafetรญn/Hostal Rincรณn Nica is a company committed to promoting reading, art and culture... plus much more.
We implemented an organic and sustainable social-educational project in the Laguna de Apoyo community in our country, Nicaragua. We trained the community in planting techniques and crop care, putting what we learnt into practice together. We're proud of the results obtained and the wonderful experience we've had, where we've all shared and enriched our knowledge.
After the training, we had the idea that people in the community could take advantage of the fertile land there.
At Rincรณn Nica, we also encourage sustainability at our property, raising our guests' awareness of how to save energy and drinking water, as well as how to cut down on the use of plastic. Instead of buying disposable water bottles, we offer reusable bottles with filtered water so that our guests can have their own bottle without adding to the increase in plastic waste.
We're looking forward to taking part in the 2023 Sustainability Festival, and excited to be joining other environmental enthusiasts in this initiative.
