Guest asking for 100% sanitation

Hi all,

To set the scene, this guest has emailed me regularly, requesting and informing me of requirements and changes to their booking, which is great.

Now I’ve received a communication letting me know they will still be coming but “can you ensure 100% the place is sanitised”.. COVID19 and all.. 

 

how can I ensure this? Our cleanliness ratings are super high rated by previous guests.. but I can’t ensure it’s 100% unless I fumigate.. which is not an option.

 

Sorry, I realise this is an incredibly better situation than what most hosts are faced wit (cancellations).

I’d really appreciate opinions regarding the options in how to respond, please no criticism around my question for help.

@Serin-and-Jo0 Even operating rooms in hospitals can't offer "100% Sanitation" guarantees.  It's just not a condition that exists in real life, and  you don't want to set yourself up to have to refund a guest who finds a speck of dust or a spore of mold.

 

The best you can do is honestly disclose to the guest what your cleaning process is, and which disinfecting products you use toward sanitation, so that they can make an informed decision about whether they feel this is adequate for their needs. If they feel they need extra sanitation services, you can coordinate with them to organize the appropriate crew at their own expense.
