Instant book

Hi, we are new to hosting and have just had an instant book request but the person has no reviews and no profile picture. Could be he is new to air BnB or that it's dodgy? If I ask questions then choose to decline that feels a bit awkward... Apart from turning off instant booking ;-), what do you think we should do?

We've been hosting for over 7 years, way more then half of our guests were first time users.It's hard to afford hosting and not accepting new members of Airbnb community. In our case we had the worst experience with people who booked last minute. We fund them the most disorganized, lacking respect and not trying harder to be good fit for renting private residence. Of course not all of them, but a majority, so we no longer allow the same day check ins. I hope that helps. Happy hosting and do not be afraid, most of the guests out there are great, but there is a few rotten eggs out there as well and there is truly no sure recipe to avoid them. Yes, they can spoil the show, but those great one must stay in our focus.
