@Nicole3533 If London is too expensive (and noisy) I would consider St Albans. It is a lovely cathedral city 20 miles outside of London. The train only takes about 20 minutes to get to central London which is way faster than taking the underground from many London boroughs. It is also North of London so you could consider hiring a car and popping up to Derbyshire. Now whilst Derbyshire might not be the most exciting place to visit it has wonderful villages and scenery and is where our Airbnb is situated!

London is a huge city with about 10 million so lots of lovely places to stay on the outskirts if you don't want to be in the centre .  @Nicole3533

If you don't want to stay in London (why) Brighton is on the coast and easy to get into London or stay in any of the Home Counties that surround our capital city.
