Hi, I’m new to hosting. We have recently bought a property in Edinburgh city centre and are planning to use it ourselves but also rent it out as our permanent home is about an hour away and we needed a place to stay when through for work. Apartment is on Cockburn Street and is being fully refurbished at the moment. Thanks for your help!
Thanks @Huma0 @I’m new to all this and just keeping up with how the technology works is hard enough ☺️
No problem.
Just so you know, when you post and no one has responded yet, it will be listed in the section for unanswered posts, where less people will probably see it.
Once someone responds, it will be moved to the recently posted threads section, which seems to get more views. It will then be pushed up every time someone responds and will move down if no one responds for a while.
I actually found it quite baffling to navigate all the intricacies of Airbnb until I found this community. I have learnt so much about hosting (and a lot of other things here) so you have done right by posting on the community.
Perhaps there are not a lot of available co-hosts right now in Edinburgh, or more likely, not many people are responding because it's Christmas (I am still procrastinating about getting started on Xmas dinner preparations!).
Yes that makes sense! I’m organised for once and have some spare time but maybe in the new year people will be more in to hanging on Airbnb 😆 enjoy Christmas dinner preparations 🤩
hey good evening elaina264 or you still looking for a co-host
@Eliana264 Hope you've read up on the new STR legislation being introduced for Scotland .
