Quick question regarding the new terms and conditions valid from 17 April 2025. European version. https://www.airbnb.com/help/article/2908#EUTOS
I understand there is a crackdown on money requests, although I have not been able to find any specific wording about this in the new terms.
For example, 2 guests are booked for 4 nights, their daughter will join for 1 night. We have a charge after 2 guests so normally we would just send a money request for the additional one night. Is that now not allowed? If not, how do we alter a booking when the only option is for the entire stay or not?
Thanks.
Just guessing with you.
Maybe
6.2 Booking Modifications.
Hosts and Guests are responsible for any Booking Modifications they agree to make via the Airbnb Platform or direct Airbnb customer service to make on their behalf, and agree to pay any additional amounts, fees or taxes associated with a Booking Modification.
So if 30 bucks extra for the one night extra guest you just modify the total booking 30 bucks and has long as the guest is aware of the charge and pays it. Doesn't matter that Airbnb know its just for Friday night. Make sense?
