Am I the only one finding the new interface quarter-baked?
Moving from travelling to hosting is at best a pain, often quite a challenge. (Often, it's necessary to find the "manage listings" option in a tertiary menu, then navigate to the page you wanted, where this was 1-2 clicks before).
To get from the guest inbox to the host inbox, previously a 1-click operation, seems to be at least 4 clicks now, requiring a detour via Dubuque.
I certainly don't expect much from ABB at this point, as the company seems a disorganized train wreck in progress, but it seems no UIX testing occurred here.
Others equally frustrated?
Nope... I am still getting the one click process that I have always had for swopping from hosting to guest profiles @Kenneth12
I use a laptop. Maybe different on a phone.
You still have "switch to hosting," "switch to travelling?"
I'm using a "desktop", I use a phone/mobile when I have no other option. Perhaps unit testing / rollout is going on, and perhaps it affects me more because I'm switching between the two so often. But what I have seems gosh awful.
Yes you are correct I still need to switch from hosting to guest profiles, through one click, but that has always been the case @Kenneth12
@Helen3 : sounds like you still have the previous interface. "Switch to..." links are gone from my interface.
I am getting the same results as @Helen3. It sounds like it's a cookie setting that all new sessions revert to traveling even after switching to hosting.
I have an upcoming trip so recently I've been getting stuck as a traveler and have to switch back to host. It is more complicated and on the traveling inbox, I don't even see the option to switch back to hosting. I have the link saved on my bookmark bar which is 10 times easier than navigating the Airbnb site.
Sounds like you may have the same interface as me. Many of my saved links I use to quickly get to things, are now failing for me, especially if I'm "set to traveler mode."
@Kenneth12 I hate hate hate the new format of the hosting pages. They have completely disappeared useful information, the programmers are in love with clicks, the more the better, and almost all of it is non-intuitive to anyone but the programmer.
The platform has scores of glitches that need fixing, yet this is what they spend their time on- changes which benefit no one.
