Hello everyone,

A warm welcome to the Community Center. 

This discussion is for introducing yourself to your fellow Airbnb Community members, as well as welcoming and saying hello to newcomers in return. Thanks to all of you who have already introduced yourself and contributed in our previous thread, here.  

I'm Lizzie and I am the Community Manager here, along with my teammate @Quincy. I have been managing the Airbnb Community Center since it officially opened in November 2015. It is fantastic to speak with amazing community members here. 

To kickstart this topic, I would like to share a few things about myself:

1. I love to travel, hot or cold it doesn't matter - I'm ready with my sun lotion or a raincoat! 
2. I play several instruments, but my main one is the flute. I always enjoy a good conversation about music. 
3. Lastly, over the past year I have become very interested in all things eco/sustainablilty related.

How about you? Any interesting facts or hobbies?

Hello, new Superhost here! I'm Johanna, a full time teacher with a doctorate in education. Besides teaching, I love traveling and meeting people from all over the world.  I've been hosting for only 3 months and every day is a new challenge. Hi All !

   We're just getting into hosting here and look forward to future connections 🙂 We rent out the private second floor of our Historic home in Helena, AR. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, each with a different decor theme.

   We have enjoyed reading through the helpful threads in CC. Thank you for posting your experiences and advice as it is so helpful to those just starting out !

   My husband and I are moving toward retirement and hope to use some of that off-duty time to catching up on projects at first. We work well together and have some painting that needs done as well as installing new doors and knobs. I love the feeling of finished projects 🙂 Then we will begin reading all those 'must-read' books that have been waiting for us..

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Mahmoud, and I am thrilled to be part of this vibrant Airbnb Community.

A few tidbits about me:

1. Traveling is my passion. Whether I’m exploring bustling cities or serene countrysides, each journey enriches my life and broadens my perspective.
2. I have a keen interest in world cuisines. Not only do I enjoy tasting dishes from different cultures, but I also love whipping up international recipes in my kitchen.
3. Besides traveling and food, I am a strong advocate for community building and believe that sharing spaces with others fosters understanding and mutual respect.

About my Airbnb listing:

I have a cozy space located conveniently near the Milano Lambrate station. What makes my place unique isn’t just its location or amenities, but the experience I try to offer my guests. I aim to provide them with a comfortable, home-like environment, sprinkled with a dash of local Milanese flavor.

It’s fantastic to be a part of a community that values connection, sharing, and creating memorable experiences. Looking forward to interacting with many of you, sharing experiences, and learning from each other.
