Hello everyone! ๐
Welcome to the Community Center! ๐ I'm @Elisa , one of the Community Managers for our English Community Center along with my lovely team members @Quincy @Paula @Rebecca @Bhumika @Alex @Emilie and we are thrilled to have you join us.
Let's kickstart this thread with a little about us Community Managers:
@Quincy : I'm from the Netherlands ๐ณ๐ฑ I have been on the Community Center for 7+ years, and have been an Airbnb Host myself. I love cycling๐ฒ, playing footballโฝ, and travelling๐ . I love how dynamic and diverse the Community Center is as we meet Hosts from all around the globe.
@Bhumika : ๐ I was born in Gujarat, India ๐ฎ๐ณ , and shifted to Toronto, Canada ๐จ๐ฆ last year! ๐ท I recently realized my love for photography and aesthetics. I love to capture mundane life and candid pictures. ๐ When I'm not working, you'll find me binge-watching thriller movies or exploring history.
@Paula : I am from Colombia ๐จ๐ด and currently living in British Columbia, Canada ๐จ๐ฆ. I have a passion for Latin American culture (I love to dance ๐) . I've had the opportunity to visit around 20 countries ๐ and plan to visit many more. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities, especially mountain biking ๐ฒ and hiking ๐.
@Rebecca : I'm from Cardiff in Wales originally but being a military child and a veterans spouse, I've travelled and lived in a lot of different places in the UK and Europe. I'm an environmentalist ๐ฟ and like to minimise my impact on the planet ๐ as well as volunteering in my local community. I love sea swimming ๐ yoga on the beach ๐งโ and I'm a children's yoga instructor too! ๐
@Elisa : I was born in Italy ๐ฎ๐น and as a lover of unique experiencesโfrom exploring the streets of Rome๐ฎ๐น , Paris ๐ซ๐ท, and Toronto ๐จ๐ฆ to appreciating timeless art and cuisineโI'm here to blend the old with the new.
@Alex : I'm originally from Spain ๐ช๐ธ, but my passion for traveling made me move to Toronto๐จ๐ฆ this year to explore the culture and add another unforgettable experience to my journey โ๏ธ. I'm also passionate about all kinds of sports โฝ๏ธ (especially football, in which I played at a semi-professional level) and love to discover new dishes everywhere I go. ๐ฅ
@Emilie : I was born in France ๐ซ๐ท, raised in French Polynesia ๐บ and Morocco ๐ฒ๐ฆ, and have settled in the UK for 14 years now! On evenings and weekends, you will find me spending time with my dog, working on a jigsaw, or trying my hand at some new cuisine. ๐ฒ
Now it's your turn! Tell us a bit about yourself. Where are you from? And is there something special about the location of your accommodation that you'd like to share?
Looking forward to getting to know you all!
Warm regards๐ป,
Elisa

Hello!
Iยดm Vito Ortiz, an educational chef manager and entrepreneur. Iยดm also a snow bird and spend my summers between Washingon D.C. and Viรฑa del Mar, Chile -my hometown-. I was one of the first Airbnb hosts in Chile many years ago. I am an avid cyclist and amateur cook. Now I have open my 102 year old home again hoping to host experiences involving food therapy in the near future. Would love to connect with people with similar interests. Cheers!
Hello @Vito533 ๐
Congratulations on your return and a huge welcome to the Community Center! It's great to have you here with us.
How amazing to hear that you were one of the first hosts in Chile! Since you've come back, have you noticed any changes?
Fingers crossed for your food therapy experience; it sounds wonderful. WE'd love to hear more about your Experience as it grows and develops. Please come back and let us know how you're getting on. ๐

Hello @Andrea8499 ๐

Hello: I am Dianne and pretty new to being an AirBnB host. Thus far I have rented 6 times with 5 five star reviews. This last rental was a disaster and I hesitate to leave a negative review, as I don't want a retaliatory negative review. However, I would NEVER recommend this guest to anyone. AirBnB has been giving me the run around as I try to claim damages (burned carpets, divots in the walls, burned leather sofa, etc.). Any advice?
Hello @Dianne389 ๐
Wow! You're a new host and all the bookings have 5 stars, that's fantastic - well done! ๐
You've asked a great question here, but I think it would get more replies if it was a stand-alone thread. You can start a conversation here to ask the experienced hosts. ๐
Let me know when you've done it and we can tag some members into the conversation to share their advice and support. ๐

Hi @Muhammad572, welcome to the Community!
Iโd love to hear more about your favorite places to explore! Whatโs one spot in Pakistan you think everyone should visit at least once? ๐
If you're visiting Pakistan, Faisal Mosque in Islamabad is definitely worth exploring. The architecture is stunning, and the peaceful atmosphere adds to its charm!
