No goodwill on Coupons expiring?
I contacted the customer support because i could not use my 2 coupons at the same time when booking.
I thought the support could possibly combine the 2 coupons into a new one, or prolong the expiration date of the remaining one that cannot be used.
The only solution offered was that i could simply book a second time this year to use the other coupon.
The coupons arent worth much, so i really do not understand why the support is stonewalling on my request.
What makes support thinking it is better to not grant goodwill than loosing hundreds of dollars future revenue? Because if that REALLY is the way how AirBnb understands customer service, and the "service" fees are quite considerable, then i will certainly never book again.

@Lukas245 There are always terms and conditions attached to any gift cards, coupons or vouchers with any company. I'm not sure why you expect it should be any different with Airbnb.
Sure, it would be nice if they did agree, but if you think that's a good reason to be outraged and never use Airbnb again, I guess that's your choice.

Fair enough
my point is just that it does not seem very clever to disgruntle a customer over a few bucks if the tradeoff is a multiple of prospective turnover...

@Lukas245 True. But there's a lot of things they do that aren't very clever. Like having constant tech glitches that frustrate both hosts and guests, and a lot of other things I could go on about.

They have so far to go in doing the "right thing".
Example: Superhosts get a spiff when they have a continuous year of Superhost status. They wouldn't even roll those over during COVID. They are completely clueless. So we lost 2 spiffs because we didn't use one up before our May 1, deadline (our April 2019 gift which we saved for a planned trip in April 2020) and then got another one in April 2020, which expired April 2021. Does Airbnb care? Nope.
We're 6+ years hosting with over 600 reviews and a 4.99 rating for our ONE in-home listing where we've hosted over 1,000 guests. We've been Superhosts every quarter since starting. We've made Airbnb A LOT more the the lousy $200 in spiffs they wouldn't roll-over. Ass-hats.

@Alice-and-Jeff0 Did you not get a notice that they just extended the ones that expired in 2021? Mine expired March 31 and it got extended to Dec. 31, 2021.
