Reviews for hosts

Why can’t I leave a review for a host on a cancelled reservation?  It’s completely unacceptable to have no mechanism to hold hosts accountable for terrible customer service, responsiveness which ultimately result in the cancellation of a trip.  This is a total suppression of key information especially during Covid to alert potential buyers to the fact that hosts will be completely unwilling to respond or accommodate changes in plans.

@Brittany331  I am so sorry that you got a bad experienced.

 

If the host cancels a stay before the day you check-in, you won’t have the option to leave a review. Instead, an automatic review will be added to the host listing’s profile to indicate that they canceled the reservation. These reviews are one of the penalties for host cancellations and can’t be removed. Host may have a panalty fee for cancel your reservation and may not got a superhost title. 

 

I am also a host and hope that in the future you will not got this experiences again.
