Sales Tax remittance from Airbnb to Minnesota

Sales Tax remittance from Airbnb to Minnesota

We are going through a Sales Tax audit with the State of Minnesota.  Problem is that it appears Airbnb simply sends in a "gross" payment without any details on our guests and what was paid per guest.  Impossible to track or reconcile with our audit.  Do any of you have a similar experience or know any more details on how Airbnb is sending in sales tax?

Thanks,

Greg

Hi, I’m also experiencing this. Our local office said they had nothing from Airbnb (in 2021). Have you received any new information since posting this?

Hello,

I don't have access to up-to-date information on Airbnb's specific sales tax reporting processes. It's best to contact Airbnb directly or consult their help center or support resources to inquire about the details of how they handle sales tax reporting to address your specific concerns.
