I have just completed my first listing and it will not allow me to Publish it. It says I need to set my Cancellation policy. Where do I do this please? NOWHERE in the editor can I find this option and online tutorials do not show the same menu options as my computer.
Does not work, I do not get these options.
This was the tutorial I tried
There is NO Policies button and therefor I cannot get to a Cancellation options choice
Thank you anyway. I have tried every pages, every option many many many times.
I have logged out, logged back in, turn off my Mac etcx.. nothing, I simply do not get the choices to select
Listings/Booking Settings/Policy/Cancellation Setting.
Thank you anyway
@Tony1163 How weird. Its basically in the same section as the check in and check out times. Can you find these?
If not then your version of Airbnb is very different to mine
Only thing in Check in and Check out times are:
-Notice times
-Check in Time
-Check out Time
Just these three options 😞
I use a computer (not the app). When managing a listing (you must be logged in on the hosting section of your account and in the "managing mode" of the listing)
I choose "booking settings" from top menu, then scroll down to section "policies", and then the cancellation policy is shown (or can be set by choosing "Edit")
Hope this helps,
Emiel
Could it be i have not yet Published?
BUT......
It will not let me publish UNTIL i set the cancellation policy
I have tried on a Mac, PC and iPad (all via their browsers)
@Tony1163 Classic catch 22.
I assume you have tried editing the booking settings?
May I PM you directly
Via Messager or WhatsApp?
My Messager name is Tony Sicily,
Sorry to ask, but I have been at this for 5 hours
@Tony1163 In the screenshot above that you posted, it says
"Create your listing"
Below that there are three lines. At the end of the third line -
"Booking settings, calendar, price" -
the word "change" appears in green.
Have you clicked that word? The policy may be there.
@Tony1163 hi, did you resolve this i am having exactly the same problem. I contacted the help desk and they don't know how to resolve it so have referred it to the developers.
