This Strict Cancellation Policy during Covid

I don't understand how Airbnb allows strict cancellation during Covid. It's not over and people have a right to cancel when they feel the travel is unsafe.

I guess I'll stick with VRBO.

@Julie4178 How strange - why not just search for properties on Airbnb that have flexible cancellation policies OR take out insurance.
