To hosts who think they're missing something NOT being a superhost. You are not.
For those who think being a superhost helps a lot. It doesn't. The most valuable thing is the $100 annual travel bonus and that's only if you use it. Most of these bonuses probably go unused and yes they disappear after 1 year. You cannot bank them.
We bust our butts for superhost status and get the same exact useless crap every time.
Every "bonus" listed cost airbnb absolutely nothing. Zero dollars out of their pocket! How about spending a few bucks & sending out some plush towels or a blanket or a plaque we can actually use in our airbnb?
Congratulations. You're a superhost again for the 11th quarter! Here are your bonuses.

has any superhost ever been invited to an "exclusive event or product launch in your area" as they mention here? I feel like this is just FLUFF to make it seem like they're giving a superhost something. 3 years and I've never been invited to anything. I live near atlanta. A huge city.

@Emily487 that's hilarious! Or maybe meetings with the local county tax assessor so they can tack on the "business inventory tax"! When my county found out I was doing airbnb the first person they sent out was the tax assessor! Cash grab!
My property taxes went up $600 a year (they were just $2200) and then the county whacked me with an additional business inventory tax of $100/month because evidently renting a single bedroom is considered a "business".
So, because I do airbnb on my property in my home, my taxes went up $1800 a year.
But golly gee, looky look... airbnb just gave me all these "valuable" once a year "bonuses" for being a superhost for 3 years running! I guess I shouldn't complain huh? <rolleyes>

Why are you complaining to Airbnb, see me like your anger should be focused on your local government.

I simply don't agree, maybe guests look for superhosts, specially those who don't use Airbnb often. I have been a guest since 2013 and have stayed in many. When I see a host without it, I even question it.
