Unconfirmed reservation help!

Unconfirmed reservation help!

Hello Community! 

 

I had a first time Airbnb user request to book my home, but he was held up by needing to complete the identify verification. Now, he has successfully verified, but I don't  know how to get the reservation to be confirmed.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

@Michelle-and-Adam0 if you have pre-approved the inquiry, it should go through automatically once the verification process is completed. If not, there may be other criteria in your booking settings this potential guest does not meet, for example positive reviews from other hosts. Credit card issues could be yet another reason.

@Michelle-and-Adam0 This happened to me last week. I contacted Airbnb and they were no help. 

 

But when the guest contacted Airbnb they were told to withdraw the request and try it again. They were confused as to why Airbnb customer service couldn't push through the booking but apparently, they can't.

 

Guest withdrew request/booking. Tried again and it worked.
