I would like to know some good places to eat around LA! I've been wanting to try more places, but when I look on social media, it seems like the same rotation of options pop up on my feed. I hope I can get some good hidden gems from you guys!

Yes it does for hosts to discuss topics such as hobbies and pets  as relates to them  @Vanessa2633 not for general tourist recommendations 

I notice you have asked this question asking for tourist recommendations to three different countries 

Why don't you ask the hosts  you are staying with - many have visitor guides and recommendations for local restaurants.
