What determines the kind of rental -- mansion? Off-the-grid? Regular 'home"?

Hello! I'm new to hosting. We recently bought a 6400 sq ft 2-level home in Shasta County, California. Some would describe it as a mansion because of its size, but we are going for a country "bunkhouse" feel. Any advice?

@Janet1292  how on earth could we give you advice without seeing the property?

I feel like I'm understanding you, cos my place is also very large (being an older 1800s home) but I always feel that "mansion" means at least 2 storeys and has a curved staircase....   funny side note: in Japan they call 2 storey modern homes "mansions" and they are really very small.

my only advice is to stay accurate. not sure how you go from mansion to bunkhouse, but always remember the philosophy of "underpromise, over deliver" really works well for this business.
