Please visit the UN Refugee Agency. They will be able to help out your father and find housing for him in the UK.

Glad your father has been able to leave. Perhaps you could offer him a home until one of the refugee agencies can help find him something? You/he could also apply for temporary accommodation through Airbnb https://www.airbnb.co.uk/help/article/1950/eligibility-for-emergency-stays-through-airbnborg?
