The apartment is available but I can't book it

I would like to book an apartment but I can't make the reservation as it seems it is not available anymore. I've been in touch with the owner who told me yesterday that is is free. Today when I wanned to book it the system showed me that the apartment is not available even when the owner sais it still is. How can I make the reservation then? We both don't know..

if it is close date then maybe your host has set preparation time or advance notice longer then time left utill your arrival, or it has minimum stay longer than you would like to book.
