About requesting a review and Superhost status
Hello, We recently lost our Superhost status on April 1 this year. Family members were living with us during the 2 year hiatus and the timing was slightly off when they moved out (they bought a condo). We opened in mid-May and will actually have enough reservations in June to qualify if the final step in the Superhost criteria is recognized: the reviews. So far 2 guests, who loved our place, have left but neither left a review. We've never asked for reviews in the past but in this case we will not qualify for Superhost status if this becomes a pattern with the rest. Is there a way we can politely ask for one? We're not asking them to give us 5 stars (which believe it or not a VRBO host actually asked us to do once) just to leave a review. Any suggestions? Or do we just leave everything as is until the next review in October when we definitely have enough reservations.

@Bob-And-Anna0 The guest actually receives several automated emails from Airbnb, nagging them to leave a review. I really don't recommend piling even more on top of that, as they might feel badgered and adjust their opinion downward.
Your reviews and ratings are fantastic as they are, and the overwhelming majority of guests won't be deterred from booking just because that little badge isn't on your profile for a few months. I'd let it go; if the guests really want to leave a review, they'll do it on their own initiative.

Thank you for your response and kind words Andrew. You have a good point about the automatic emails, something that we are aware of. Our hopes were to gain the Superhost status quickly but you're correct about that too. Given how quickly our studio was reserved over three months people must have looked at all our reviews prior to the pandemic's beginning.
