Airbnb Experience Price Changed but Not Showing Up

So I changed the price on my experience; I do a human right/LGBTQ tour in NYC. I priced it really low to draw guests to it and updated the price last night when I got home and it said all future new bookings would reflect this price. However, a new guest booked today and she got the cheaper price. What happened? I contacted airbnb and they said they are looking into it. Has this ever happened to anyone else?
