The following guest does not appear to have a gov't ID:
but appears to have Instant Booked right past that requirement. (In addition, he or she managed to avoid a minimum stay requirement as well).
Anyone else seeing similar glitches recently?
@Kenneth12 Apparently, yes....
I got an IB recently that defied my ID requirement. First time, for me.
@Kenneth12 i had a similar issue someone was able to send a request to book for 2 days for a weekend that was set with a min of 3 days i thought i was going mad, check listings, check everything single parametre and could not figure out how this guest was able to request 2 days on weekend. Airbnb glitches will drive at the end any hosts into a mental hospital as u end up doubting of every setting
@Kenneth12 yes, that seems to happen fairly frequently. I had five or six bookings last year alone that didn't meet my IB requirements. I got tired of it and finally turned IB off. Problem solved.
I don’t even have IB on, and I got a booking request for 2 days when my minimum is 3 days. I called Airbnb to inquire about having the booking request cancelled, and they told me “It’s a software glitch, we can’t do anything, but don’t worry, if you decline the request, it won’t go against you”. I objected, telling her that every day, I have to look at my “Acceptance Rate”, and if it falls below 88%, it will start showing up under “Things you can do better”, and what she is telling me is like saying “Well, I know it looks like a C, and it looks like we are berating you, but it’s not really a C, it’s actually an A, don’t worry about it”. Completely unacceptable.
