Hello, I've got a potential issue here, not sure how to proceed: current guest, a week into a 4-week stay, is proving troublesome.
I have accepted her booking for another 4-week stay, Nov-Dec, but am having second thoughts based on present experience.
Can I cancel the Nov/Dec booking without accruing bad ABnB karma?
If so, how do I go about it?
TIA for help!
Ch.S.
A karma (or even penalty) free cancelation might prove tricky, @Charles1222. You might want to get in touch with CS and explain your predicament to them. Good luck!
Is Support/Help Centre/contact Superhost support the route you’re suggesting? Or is there some other avenue?
Customer service - and tell them how/why the guest is now an issue, @Charles1222. I suspect they'll query why you're allowing them to stay for this booking.
Thanks, @Gordon0 and @Helen3 She’s just 5 days into a projected 4-week stay, so I’m inclined to see how it goes the next little while. There’s nothing seriously threatening to life or limb or property going on (yet?), just some unpleasant and borderline disturbing communications… A new phenomenon for me, after 15 months trouble-free hosting.
By “Customer Service” are you suggesting something other than the Contact button in the Help Centre, which leads to a text exchange (much like this one) ? If so, what?
Thanks, Ch.S.
In what way is the guest proving troublesome? Which house rules is she not meeting @Charles1222 ?
