Hi @Stephen1915 😊

It’s not too bad!

Are you satisfied with the robot? Do you have any tips about it you’d like to share?

The cleaning would take a lot longer without our robot cleaner. Of course, we don't have stairs to clean (it wouldn't work for stairs) and we have to manually clean surfaces, but still, it does save time and is very good at cleaning under beds and tables, etc.

Hi @Stephen1915 😊

thank you for letting me know, that's definitely the best approach.

I wish you a lovely week and time on our community. Don't hesitate to reach out if you need anything!

Elisa,

So far all guests have been extremely cooperative & understanding. Whenever they Check-in, I personally make it a point to share with them all important information such as NOT TO MISS certain tourist spots so that they ensure to visit those to make their tour worth the money they spend. Bottom line is it becomes a WIN WIN situation.

Guests remain happy is my ultimate goal.

I have been a host for over ten years. This is the first time I did not get Superhost status. It appears your criteria has changed. I still meet all the criteria, however, there’s this new requirement of ten stays or 100 days per quarter. Am I correct? My property is seasonal and we use the property for family for a portion, as many are, so I will no longer be able to meet the new rules. Quite frankly, it appears that Airbnb is oriented to commercial investors instead of its original routes of property owners. My thought is that there are better venues now available for individual property owners. Perhaps, going back to a more personalized approach of the past. My track record is strong with wonderful reviews and high quality property and standards. It’s disappointing to see the ever evolving changes. The occupancy rate has nothing to do with the quality of a property and the hosts’ ability to provide a good stay. It’s clearly a pressure to force hosts to turnover their property like a hotel. It’s just trying to increase Airbnb revenue. So, the 5 star rating system doesn’t mean much anymore. It’s too bad because I think that many people may start turning to other ways advertise their seasonal rentals. There are many options for experienced hosts. It’s too bad that Airbnb is discouraging good properties from utilizing their platform. I hear from many guests that they are turning back to hotels for travel because many properties have become “commercial” with high turnover and limited quality control. Truly unique and hands on family properties are hard to find. Disappointed because good hosts are penalized for not turning their properties into generic and sterile high turnover properties. My property is NOT that and is what differentiates my listing from generic hotel rooms.

We are so excited about being Superhosts, looking forward to plus !

Super happy to have earned the Superhost tag as a new host!
There’s nothing more fulfilling than seeing guests leave with a smile — it makes every bit of effort worth it. I hope more hosts get to experience this joy and continue creating spaces that truly align with their guests’ needs and their own vision.
Cheers to everyone building warm, memorable stays! 🌿
