Hosting has been such a joy for me.  I love hearing guests describe their stay as peaceful, spotless, and “like a dream.” Knowing they leave refreshed and already planning a return visit means the world.

Very excited that our "Copperleigh Trout Cottages" has been recognized as an Airbnb Superhost!
We look forward to welcoming you all to our beautiful working sheep, goat and cattle farm in the Midlands of KZN, South Africa!

Currrently we only have 2 private self catering units built overlooking the calm waters of our trout stocked Mavela Dam, which means that there are no crowds and you will always have the best experience in our home away from home.

Congratulations!! The spot by the dam sounds wonderfully peaceful. Do you get many guests coming specifically for the fishing, or do most just want a break from city life?

How long have you been hosting out there in the Midlands?

We do have an assortment of guests. Quite a few do come to enjoy the trout fishing as our Mavela Dam is considered one of the Natal Fly Fishing Club's premier dams to fish. However, I do think most of our guests are just couples and families coming to visit our farm to get away from the city, or use us as a stopover on their way to the coast, St Lucia or Coffee Bay. We are also less than 2 hours from the Lesotho Border and Sani Pass, so international guests can also visit another country whilst staying with us, as well as visit the highest pub in Africa!

We also have the fabulous iNhlosane Mountain behind us, so a great hike to do in a morning with amazing views over the entire Dargle Valley.

We started hosting here in July 2017 with our first unit, the double story Lodge, then built and opened the log Cabin in August 2019 - just before Covid hit! Thankfully we have managed to continue operating through all of that and our guests continue to support us, many have been returning every year since we opened which is fantastic!

Thanks to Airbnb for awarding us Superhost status for my La Titlis. It's truly a pleasure to be connected with Airbnb, and I am committed to continuously improving the guest experience in the future. I'm delighted with the wonderful guests I"'ve been able to host through Airbnb, and I always look forward to welcoming them with warmth and hospitality.

I just want to share my gratitude for inviting me to this Superhost community! 🙂 I love hosting People and supporting them in discovering the beauty of Warsaw, my home city.

Now I am dreaming about building a house near Baltic seaside and becoming a Superhost of that place as well!

Not really feeling like a superhost right now. 🥺 My listing got wrongly suspended, but since the last update by support on Saturday I’m not hearing anything from them. 😭😭😭 Details in my other post, see profile.
