Do you have any Easter traditions? ๐Ÿฃ๐Ÿฐ

Do you have any Easter traditions_ .jpg

Happy Easter to everyone! ๐ŸŽ‰

Time keeps running, and we have already reached Easter week! I canโ€™t believe how fast time is going. I know that many people are already on holiday, but for others, Easter has just begun. In Spain, Easter is a highly anticipated holiday where the majority of the Spanish population travels to different parts of Spain and Europe. โœˆ๏ธ๐Ÿš—

Easter is also important for hosts, as they get to welcome guests from all over the world. Since this is a busy time of the year, I would like to hear how you prepare for this week:

What unique Easter traditions do you incorporate into your hosting? ๐Ÿชบ

Do you have any special decorations or themes that you use to make your property feel festive? Perhaps you leave some chocolate Easter eggs, some bunnies, or maybe you organize a treasure hunt! ๐Ÿดโ€:skull_and_crossbones:

Do you have any tips for fellow hosts to create a memorable Easter experience for their guests? ๐Ÿ’ญ

Iโ€™d love to hear from you and celebrate this time of the year together! ๐Ÿค—

Kind regards,
Alex

Hi Alex,

We do not have any special traditions that are shared via hosting.  Although we are Christian and personally celebrate this beautiful Easter holiday, we know many guests are from many varied and equally wonderful religious backgrounds.  We respect and honor this  by maintaining our listing and home as holiday "neutral", thus providing our guests with the freedom to  choose their level of participation in holidays, especially those with a religious basis.

Kindly,

Buongiorno @Alex !

In Venice the Easter cake par excellence is focaccia, called "fugassa" in the local dialect, it is a sweet leavened Easter bread similar to the "Colomba".

Originally it was the cake of the poor. During the holidays the basic bread dough was taken and eggs, butter and sugar were added (all in moderate quantities given the costs). Then the cake was cooked in wood-fired ovens.

Later this cake was 'adopted' by pastry shops until it became more refined and elaborate.

Happy Easter!

Andrea

Wow, @Andrea6232, that looks yummy!

Whenever you get guests during Easter, do you offer them this? I'm sure they will love it! ๐Ÿฐ

Happy Easter to you as well, and thank you for such an uplifting message!

You're absolutely rightโ€”Easter is a special time for both travel and hosting.

As a property manager, Iโ€™ve found that the smallest touches can create the biggest impact during the holidays.

Some of the Easter-themed elements Iโ€™ve encouraged hosts to incorporate include:

Seasonal welcome baskets with chocolates or locally made Easter treats.

Light festive decorations like pastel cushions, floral centerpieces, or even a small bunny figurine at the entryway to create a cheerful atmosphere.

And when hosting families, a simple Easter egg treasure hunt in the backyard or common area always adds a memorable touch.

My tip for hosts: make the experience personal. A handwritten Easter greeting card or a local tip for enjoying the holiday nearby goes a long way in guest satisfaction.

Looking forward to hearing what others are doing this season tooโ€”every idea helps us raise the hospitality bar!

Warm wishes,
Faith

Did you came up with these treats for guests or you got the inspiration from any other hosts?๐Ÿค—

Best,

Alex
