Hello everyone,

I’m a passionate host from India and happy to share my story with this amazing community. After completing my Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Master of Social Work (MSW), Bachelor of Laws (LLB), and a degree in Political Science, I worked in different industries for over five years.

Eight months ago, I fully committed to Airbnb hosting. I’ve been learning everything about short-term rentals — working up to 18 hours a day to understand guest needs, platform tools, and what truly creates a great stay.

Now, I’m excited to grow full-time as a host and also open to co-hosting or managing properties in India.

One important lesson I’ve learned:

“If you build respectful, professional relationships with guests, even their smallest suggestions can help you improve in a big way.”

And something I truly believe in:

“We don’t just give people a place to stay — we give them an experience.”

To answer your question — I was initially preparing for a career in public service or legal consulting. My academic background was quite diverse because I’ve always been curious about how society, governance, and justice systems function. But over time, I realized I was more passionate about hospitality and creating meaningful experiences for people. Hosting on Airbnb brought together everything I value: service, people, organization, and creativity.

One great suggestion that really helped me came from a guest who mentioned that while everything was clean and well-arranged, a small welcome note and local snacks would make the stay feel more personal. I immediately implemented this, and the feedback since then has been wonderful. It showed me how even small touches can make a big difference.

I'm continuing to learn every day, and I truly believe in evolving through both feedback and community conversations like this. Thanks again for encouraging me to share!
