Frustrations with online Guidebook

It seems like Airbnb’s online guidebook was an afterthought done with little research or resources. 

The interface is clunky, providing, what I find, few options to edit and rearrange listings. 

Once I figured out how to make it all work, I thought it was time to see what guests see from their side…only u couldn’t find my guidebook (I was searching as a guest). 

Airbnb buries guidebooks under layers of links. Why? Why not make it one of the main sections of our listings?

We’re new to hosting and have had about 20 bookings. About half of them were fairly new to Airbnb and didn’t know much about the app.

I agree with you, the guidebooks could definitely be improved, but I don't think Airbnb cares much about that, which is a shame because in some cases, for example for cities of art, they could make a big difference 😉

I provide an outside guidebook app because I can add all the information I want for my guest to truly enjoy their stay. But sometimes when I offer it guest from Airbnb will say I already have it. I'm like nope you just have a very sad Airbnb guidebook. It needs improvement! Guest need as much information as possible to enjoy their stay.
