Guest didn't check in awaiting covid test

Hi there

This is my first week of hosting and I was ment to have someone checking in yesterday for 4 days but they messaged me on check in day as they where awaiting a covid test. It has now come back his son has covid so won't be able to stay for the remaining days how do I go about this. Thanks

It's not up to you to do anything, @Sarah3824 . You really can't do anything. Payments are between the guest and Airbnb. If the guest is asking you for advice or a refund, have them get in touch with Airbnb. If a cancellation is needed, it is the guest who needs to cancel.
