Hello... I am hoping someone can help me here. I have a larger home and I typically get asked OFTEN... if guests can split payments with family members etc. I have searched the help section and only found that it is best to ask EACH family member open or have an account, then request days, and pay. HOWEVER.. my problem is with the requirements the City has set in place for my home and me being able to show proof of each guest! (my home has to rented for 15 days min). I have my home set so it ONLY shows up for people planning to stay a min of 15 days. If someone with the City shows up .. I have to show that EACH booking was for a min of 15 days/payouts. If not, I am subject to being shut down or fined. Is there anyway around this on AirBNB or do I have to send them to another platform every time??? If I am missing something some place please let me know!
In former days Airbnb offered a split payment feature, but they stopped it.
Guest need to split the costs of a booking outside Airbnb. Which IMO is not that difficult.
BTW I am from the Netherlands, "going Dutch" is one of our bad habits....

@Farrah27 Emiel is correct. Just tell them that airbnb handles payments, not hosts, and they should contact Airbnb with any queries, but that as far as you know, split payment is not an option. Why, oh why do people insist on making life complicated? The solution is simple, as mentioned already.
@Farrah27 A shared or split payment option is not available. Advise your guest that the primary renter, i.e., the guest who books under their profile, will have to pay the entire fee to AirBnB. The other guests can PayPal, VenMo or cash pay the primary renter.
