I think its safe to say that a large number of host are upset by the way AirBnB has treated it's host. Their actions have left no doubt what little respect they have for host, where the host stand with them or how little they care about the financial burdens and stress that their decisions have caused host. Things are bad enough for host so the last thing we need to do is make rash decisions. What we need is to step back and compose ourselves and see what happens in the near future. I have seen where some host are already suggesting it, what we need to do is to find out what our options are and what we can do legally. There has to be some host out there that are lawyers or know about this sort of thing that will be willing to at least tell us what we need to do, I say lets give them time to provide some legitimate options, whether its petitions or mass exits by host, whatever it takes. It's not going to do any good if a host just up quits the AirBnB platform by themselves but together we might be able to accomplish some good. Myself I had already decided to leave AirBnB before all this blew up because of the way they were saying everything was an extenuating circumstance and giving full refunds no matter what their reason for canceling was. I was going to faze out my properties one at a time. Now I am going to hold off until i see what happens with this. This crisis could be a blessing, if it can bring all the host together and force AirBnB to stop treating the host the way they have I will be in 100%.
