Hi everyone 👋
Let’s have a bit of fun! If your listing had its own theme song, the one that plays as guests arrive or perfectly sums up its vibe, what would it be?
Would it be something upbeat like “Walking on Sunshine” for a bright coastal stay, or maybe “Sweet Home Alabama” if your place has that warm, welcoming, home-from-home feel?
Share your song and tell us why you chose it. Does it match your décor, your location, your hosting style, or the mood you want guests to feel when they walk in?
I’ll start. Mine would be "Mr. Blue Sky”. It’s super joyous, sunny, and optimistic, and always makes me feel bright and uplifted, hopefully how you’d feel if you came to my house on the coast!
I can’t wait to hear your picks. 🎧
Buonasera @Rebecca,
if I had to associate music with my home in Venice, I would definitely think of Vivaldi, the great Venetian musician, and his concerto “The Four Seasons.” 😍 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TvqVRzQkqkg)

A beautiful soundtrack from Vivaldi to start my morning, thank you @Andrea6232 ☕ Do you think it's feeling autumnal at the moment?
This is the view from my 'office' window... The colours are so vivd, it reflects into my home 🍂🍁
for sure it would be Zorba's soundtrack and Sirtaki! airbnb.fr/h/azureolive
Ohhhh yes! I know these well - lots of holidays in Greece as a child! So much fun! Thanks so much for sharing @Alexandre1838. I noticed from your profile that you started hosting 6 months ago, how are you finding it so far?
It's great to see you around on the Community Center too - have you done much exploring here?
" Come Away With Me" - Norah Jones.... perfect for guests arriving to unwind, wine in hand, soft lighting on the pool deck with the city lights in the distance... ✨
Hello @Bec3748 @Rebecca
I think you should add what you wrote to your listing description.
I checked out your property, especially photo number 5 of 27 with the night view of the city, and I listened to the song you mentioned to understand what you meant. It was great, a beautiful song and an excellent recommendation!
thankyou so much - adding what I wrote to my listing is a great idea!
Very much appreciate the suggestion 🙂
That’s a great question, @Rebecca !
I was tempted to pick a jazz classic by Rodgers and Hammerstein, but I’ll save that for another time.
Some of our guests come here to pause and reflect between one chapter of life and the next. Some have left jobs, relationships, or homes and are here to think about what comes next. It’s exciting to witness that and to hear their stories. All I can offer is a safe, quiet, and neutral place for them. Guests like that usually stay for a week or two.
These are moments filled with both sadness and strength. Sadness for what’s left behind and strength to begin again. It’s about hope, but not as a promise. It’s hope as survival, as the quiet courage to live on.
I chose a slow samba that captures that feeling. Even if you don’t understand the lyrics, a slow samba has that effect. It’s rich, full of rhythm, like a heartbeat. It is powerful yet calm. The melody lifts gently, steady and never collapsing, while the rhythm keeps walking forward.
That’s why I chose Acreditar, a beautiful slow samba that expresses longing, hope, and determination.

Thank you so much for sharing this story and the song @Guy991. I just listened to it and it's very empowering and uplifting - much needed on this grey Monday morning. ☁️
I love that your home is that neutral space for people, and I love that you build that relationship with your guests too - to learn about them and their story.
Thank you so much for sharing this here and for your wonderful support for @Bec3748 below!
@Rebecca That's easy. It would be the "Day-O (The Banana Boat Song)" by Harry Belafonte.
My living room has a Beetlejuice theme. 😄
Almost half of them came from Spirit of Halloween. I've been collecting for years.
Others I made, and some were gifts from friends.
One guest even gifted me a Beetlejuice Squishmallow one time!
That's so wonderful to hear. Do you get people staying with you who are huge fans of Beetlejuice too? @Casey464
